Why?

As you may know, there are no public playground in the public area outside the ones available on a limited basis at the schools. Even when available, school playground are not aimed at younger children.

Beaver Ranch receives no direct tax dollars for either operations or capital improvements. All funding for projects such as this one must be raised from private sources. We are seeking private sponsors to make the playground a reality.

Installation can begin as soon as the leveling is complete and the funding is available. We hope to have our mountain kids playing by this summer.
